Hawaii: Senate Judiciary Committee Hearing Mandatory Storage Bill

Gun Rights

On March 30th, the Senate Judiciary Committee will hear House Bill 30. Please consider submitting testimony against HB 30 through the Hawaii Legislative website. For help creating an account and submitting testimony, click here.

House Bill 31, sponsored by Gregg Takayama (D-34), increases Hawaii’s mandatory firearm storage requirements. Safe storage is a matter of personal responsibility and everyone’s situation is different. It’s unreasonable for the law to impose one-size-fits-all solutions.

Again, please consider submitting testimony against HB 30 through the Hawaii Legislative website.
