Colorado: Committee Hearing Tomorrow on State FFL Licensing Bill

Gun Rights

Tomorrow, May 2nd, the Senate Finance Committee will hold a hearing on House Bill 24-1353, creating a state level licensing scheme of federally licensed firearms dealers. Please contact members of the committee NOW by using the Take Action button and ask them to OPPOSE this bill!

HB 24-1353 creates a duplicative state level permitting system for federally regulated firearm license holders. The new permit adds one more layer of scrutiny and potentially state sanctioned harassment of these already highly regulated businesses.

The NRA-ILA will work diligently to defend your Second Amendment rights by opposing this bill. Continue to check your inbox and the NRA-ILA website for updates concerning your Second Amendment Rights and hunting heritage in Colorado.
