Michigan Governor Calls For Laws With A 525 Year History Of Abject Failure, and encouraging Totalitarianism

Gun News

Michigan Governor Gretchen Whitmer  spot to two of Bloomberg’s gun ban industry clients and excoriated the Trump administration for “failing to know what is going on in Michigan,” and for failing to ban and confiscate guns.

I have a suspicion amounting to certainty that President Trump knows far more about what is going on in Michigan than the Governess. After all, the President gets frequent briefings about Michigan, while the Governess seemed to be blissfully unaware that tens of thousands of Michigan business were either closed forever, or on the bring of permanent closure – while the Governess was trying to extend the lockdown for months.

When the Democrat’s term ends, she will leave a Michigan much the worse compared to the State when she was entrusted with the welfare of the people. Changed in ways that could easily take generations to restore to proper order.

And one of the most basic things any Governor should know isthe role civilian firearms play in suppressing the violent crime that is affecting everything in Michigan as a a brush fire burns through a suburban subdivision.

It takes very little effort to see gun control has been a series of bloody failures in Michigan, where State gun laws make up a tiny percentage of the 58,266 known failures.

Those laws did not prevent blood running in Michigan streets, they set up the conditions that resulted in blood running in the streets of Detroit, Ann Arbor, Saginaw, Detroit, and yes, Lansing.
