California: Senate Vote Today!

Gun Rights

Late last night, the Senate Budget and Fiscal Review Committee passed Assembly Bill 88, relating to the public safety budget.  AB 88 includes significant policy changes that would expand the definition of “assault weapon” under California’s “Assault Weapons Control Act.”  Additionally, the bill expedites the effective date on precursor parts restrictions.  The Senate will be voting on this legislation today.  It’s critical you contact your senator and urge their opposition!
