Kansas Couple Arrested in Bank Robbery Case

Police in Kansas City, Kansas, have arrested a married couple, Willie Sampson and Kimberly Thomas-Sampson, in connection with a January bank robbery. The couple is charged with two counts of aggravated robbery, among other serious offenses, after being implicated in an armed robbery at a U.S. Bank branch on January 31.

Law enforcement attempted to serve a warrant to Sampson at their home, where he barricaded himself for nearly two hours before surrendering. With both suspects held on a $250,000 bond, the case raises concerns about crime in the area and the couple’s potential connection to other incidents.
