Wisconsin Man Arrested for Gun and Drug Offenses

A 43-year-old man from Platteville, Wisconsin, is arrested in Harvey, a southern suburb of Chicago, following the seizure of multiple firearms and a significant cache of narcotics. Authorities executed a search warrant at a home on Lincoln Avenue as part of an investigation into suspected drug activities, leading to the recovery of a ghost gun, a stolen handgun, and various illegal substances including ecstasy and crack cocaine.

The arrest came after officers observed two men, Demario Hughes and Dennis McCarty, exhibiting suspicious behavior. Both individuals, who were found to lack valid gun licenses, now face felony charges for aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and drug-related offenses, highlighting ongoing concerns about illegal firearms and narcotics in the Chicago area.
