Starting Saturday, the Pennsylvania Farm Show Complex in Harrisburg will once again be the venue for the Great American Outdoor Show — “the world’s largest outdoor show,” according to the National Rifle Association.
The NRA’s annual event will be held from Feb. 1-9 this year, and will include vendors, seminars, demos, and exhibitors for all manner of outdoor and sporting activities.
The event’s website lists nearly 1,000 exhibitors, offering goods ranging from apparel and footwear, camping gear, firearms and fishing gear to RVs, ATVs and other recreational vehicles, along with travel guides, chartered outings and groups specializing in land management.
Activities include the DockDogs diving competition, the Eastern Elk Calling Championship, the Pennsylvania Lumberjack Championships, the Wall of Guns display and raffle, the NRA Foundation’s Sportsman’s Auction, and the NRA Country Concert with Riley Green and John Morgan.
The event’s Eddie Eagle Kid’s Zone will include arts and crafts, face painting, a basketball court and other attractions. The children’s area is free and open throughout the show.
