Last Thursday, the South Carolina Legislature adjourned sine die from its 2022 legislative session. Constitutional carry once again failed to pass due to inaction by the Senate, despite the House having passed it in 2021. While the Legislature was in session this year, five more states passed constitutional carry, including neighboring Georgia, resulting in a total of 25 states having it.

NRA will be back in Columbia in 2023 to keep fighting for the right to self-defense for all law-abiding citizens. Please stay tuned to www.nraila.org and your email inbox for further updates.
