Connecticut: Gun Control Proposal on Committee Agenda for Tomorrow!

Gun Rights

Tomorrow, the Joint Committee on the Judiciary will be holding a committee meeting to discuss omnibus gun control legislation, Senate Bill 16.  Please contact committee members immediately and ask them to OPPOSE S.B. 16!

Senate Bill 16, requested by the Governor, is an omnibus gun control bill that most notably expands the state’s so-called “assault weapons ban,” modifies carry laws, and expands gun free zones.  These proposals are simply misguided, anti-gun virtue signaling.  SB 16 will do nothing to stop violent crime or improve public safety, and stands only to further burden law-abiding gun owners.

Again, please contact members of the Judiciary Committee and ask them to OPPOSE S.B. 16!
