Ivanka Trump‘s sons may look like their dad Jared Kushner, but they’re taking after their Uncle Don, at least when it comes to their shooting skills.

In the first photo, Don, 42, is kneeling next to Joseph with a rifle in his hand as they hold up a clay target disk with a bullet hole in the center to show the camera.

While they are both wearing shooting vests and protective glasses, Joseph also has on a pair of electronic ear muffs as an extra safety precaution.

Another snapshot shows a smiling Theo holding a rifle with the help of his uncle. Like his older brother, he has on a shooting vest, glasses, earmuffs, and a navy puffy coat.

Other pictures from the outing include Don helping Theo point the rifle and Joseph shooting a bow and arrow by himself.

The only person who was missing was Ivanka’s daughter Arabella, nine, who didn’t appear to be with them.

Many Trump supporters were thrilled by the photos, including former White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders, who commented:  ‘Love!’

‘This is EVERYTHING,’ added Lynne Patton, a longtime Trump aide.

Ivanka seemed to really love the photos, as she also shared them on her Instagram Stories, but not everyone was happy to see her children learning how to shoot.

The mom’s former friend Lauren Santo Domingo made her disapproval known with just one word, simply writing: ‘Oh.’

The socialite, who co-founded the luxury online retailer Moda Operandi, has been critical of Ivanka and her role in the Trump administration, but she’s not the only one who disagreed with the photos.

‘As much as I like Ivanka I don’t like kids near guns,’ someone else commented, while another added: ‘DISGUSTING!!! Children and weapons are a NO GO!

People also brought up Don Jr.’s penchant for hunting endangered wildlife in Africa. For years, he and his brother Eric Trump have faced backlash for trophy hunting after grisly photos of them posing with wild animal carcasses in Zimbwawe surfaced in 2012.

In one photo the brothers are smiling while posing with a leopard that they killed on their trip. Another shows Don Jr. holding a sawed-off tail of an elephant.

The hunting excursion was the same type of trip that led to Cecil the lion being killed by a big-game hunter in 2015, causing global outrage.

Don Jr., who is still an avid hunter, reposted Ivanka’s photos on his own Instagram page, writing: ‘Got to start them young!!!’

His post made it seem as though it was the boys’ first shooting lesson with him, but it’s unclear if there will be others.

‘I think there’s some potential here and most importantly they learned and understood the rules to be safe now and in the future,’ Don Jr. wrote.

President Donald Trump defended his sons’ love of hunting during a press conference in January 2016, saying: ‘My sons love to hunt. They are members of the NRA, very proudly. I am a big believer in the Second Amendment.

‘But my sons are hunters, Eric is a hunter and I would say he puts it on a par with golf, if not ahead of golf. My other son, Don, is a hunter. They’re great marksman, great shots, they love it.’

Ivanka may be trying to appeal to her father’s Republican base with her sons’ shooting photos. Speculation has been swirling that she will run for the U.S. Senate in Florida in 2022 after it was revealed that she and her husband Jared, 39, bought a plot of land in Miami.

With the couple’s final weeks in the White House soon coming to an end, she has been sharing more and more family photos on Instagram.

The day before her sons’ outing with Uncle Don, Ivanka documented her romantic date night with her husband.

She posted a photo of herself cuddled up close to Jared as city lights twinkled behind them, though it’s unclear where they were.

Ivanka was all dressed up in a champagne-colored satin dress, while Jared had on a sharp blazer over his sweater and white button-down shirt.

‘Saturday Night Lights,’ she captioned the image.

Last Friday, the First Daughter celebrated the second night of Hanukah by sharing a photo of her and her family posing in front of a menorah in their home.

Ivanka, who converted to Judaism to marry Jared in 2009, is still in her work clothes, but her kids are dressed casually in T-shirts and long-sleeves.

Keeping with Jewish tradition, Joseph and Theodore are both wearing yarmulkes on their heads, though it’s unclear if Jared also has one on.

‘Happy Chanukah from our family to yours! #HappyChanukah,’ she wrote.
