Shaheen was a key vote in the recent rash of gun control laws that have already sent media crime rates up. If she is reelected, New Hampshire residents can expect violent crime and homicide rates to soar, exceeding even the heights reached after the Gun Control Act of 1968, and before New Hampshire’s largest and most law abiding demographic, gun owners, began working to relax both New Hampshire’s gun laws and the level of enforcement of those laws. The results of that campaign by the law abiding is easily visible, to the point that a high percentage of crime consists of Massachusetts criminals raiding across State lines.

New Hampshire had one of the lowest crime and violent crime rates in the United States – before gun control. While the temptation to blame the tool for the evil men do is great, particularly for those who jump to someone “reasoning from Premises,” the data shows restrictive gun laws have been an absolute disaster for New Hampshire residents, and the once tranquil State will only suffer even greater damage should more of Bloomberg’s gun ban precursor package be enacted.
The Senator’s vote has done about as much damage as it is possible for one person to do in one term, and now she is trying for a second.
Since it appears the Senator is unable to look at the facts and come to a fact based conclusion, it is time to send her to “The Long pasture,” as Australians say.
