Arizona: Legislature Adjourns Sine Die

Gun Rights

Yesterday, the Legislature adjourned sine die from its 2021 legislative session. During this session, the House passed House Bill 2840, critical self-defense legislation to reduce arbitrary boundaries where law-abiding citizens are left defenseless. Unfortunately, the Senate failed to take action on HB 2840 before session ended.

Earlier this session, the Legislature passed Senate Bill 1382, to ensure that access to the Second Amendment remains protected from frivolous lawsuits and also remains protected during emergencies. Governor Doug Ducey signed SB 1382 into law on May 7th, 2021.

NRA will be back in Phoenix in 2022. In the meantime, please stay tuned to www.nraila.org and your email inbox for further updates.
