Judge Denies NRA Motion to Set Aside $6.4 Million Jury Verdict

A New York judge on Thursday denied motions to set aside a jury verdict finding the National Rifle Association and its current and former senior officers liable for misconduct that included mismanagement and corruption.

“I cannot conclude in any of these motions that the jury verdict was irrational or against the weight of the evidence,” Acting Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Joel Cohen ruled from the bench Thursday following two hours of oral arguments.
