NRA and conservative legal group sue New Mexico governor over 7-day waiting period to buy guns

A conservative legal group and gun rights activists teamed up to challenge a newly-enacted seven-day waiting period to buy a gun in New Mexico. The lawsuit, filed in the District Court of New Mexico, is based on Second and 14th Amendment arguments, with reference to a Supreme Court decision in 2022.
