South Carolina: Legislature Adjourns Sine Die from 2024 Session

Today, May 9th, the Legislature adjourned sine die from its 2024 legislative session. During this eventful session, lawmakers, led by State Representative Bobby J. Cox, passed NRA-backed Constitutional Carry legislation. Gov. McMaster then promptly signed HB 3594 into law to make South Carolina the 29th Constitutional Carry state. The new law went into effect on March 7th, 2024.
