Nebraska: Unicameral Adjourns Sine Die From 2024 Session – School Carry Signed Into Law!

Gun Rights

Yesterday, the Nebraska Unicameral Legislature adjourned sine die from the 2024 legislative session. Thanks to the efforts of NRA members, fellow Second Amendment advocates, and Senator Tom Brewer, the Education Package LB 1329 passed the Unicameral Legislature and has been signed into law by Governor Pillen. In late March, this omnibus education package was amended to include some provisions of the original school employee carry, LB 1339.

We encourage you to stay engaged, support pro-Second Amendment candidates, and be prepared to defend our rights whenever necessary. Together, we can continue making strides in protecting our cherished heritage and ensuring that future generations enjoy the freedoms bestowed upon us by our Founding Fathers.

Thank you to all our members and fellow Second Amendment advocates who engaged with their legislators this session. NRA will be back in Lincoln for the 2025 session. Meanwhile, please stay tuned to www.nraila.org and your email inbox for further updates.
