Minnesota: Legislation Banning Certain Firearm Triggers Passed in Committee

Gun Rights

This morning, House File 2609 was passed by the House Public Safety and Finance Committee and is expected to receive a vote on the House floor. The bill includes language that bans certain firearm triggers. Please use the Take Action button below to contact your representative and urge them to OPPOSE House File 2609 as amended!

HF 2609 was amended with vague and ambiguous language banning certain firearm triggers. Despite committee questions and push back during the hearing on how this language could potentially implicate many common factory installed triggers, the bill was passed with the amendment.

Once again, please contact your representative and urge them to OPPOSE HF 2609 as amended.
