Gun Rights

On March 21stHouse File 2609 was amended in committee and added language that bans certain firearm triggers. The bill has been scheduled for a hearing in the House Public Safety and Finance and Policy Committee on Thursday April 4th at 10:30 am. Please use the Take Action button below to contact members of the committee and urge them to OPPOSE House File 2609 as amended!

HF 2609 was amended with vague and ambiguous language banning certain firearm triggers. Despite committee questions and push back during the hearing on how this language could potentially implicate many common factory installed triggers, the bill was passed with the amendment.

Once again, please contact members of the committee and urge them to OPPOSE HF 2609 as amended.
