Idaho: Firearm Industry Discrimination Bill Passes House

Gun Rights

On Monday, February 26th, the Senate passed Senate Bill 1291 by a floor vote of 28-7. NRA thanks all Senators who voted in favor of this critical legislation.

The bill now moves to the House State Affairs Committee for consideration. Please contact committee members now and urge them to SUPPORT SB 1291 by using the Take Action button below.

SB 1291 prohibits public contracts with individuals or companies that are boycotting certain industries, including those that engage in or support the manufacture, distribution, sale, or use of firearms. This bill would require those who contract with the state to disclose if their policies discriminate against the firearms industry.
