South Carolina: Constitutional Carry Needs Your Action Today

Gun Rights

The South Carolina Senate is on the second week of floor debate on HB 3594, legislation recognizing your right to carry a concealed firearm for self-defense without seeking government permission. A rash of amendments have been put forth on the Senate floor in what appears to be an attempt to muddy the waters on the ultimate goal of providing greater Second Amendment protections in the Palmetto State.

It’s critical that NRA members and Second Amendment Supporters contact their Senator today and urge them to support HB 3594 without any amendments! Use the take action button below or contact your Senator today!

Constitutional carry protects Americans’ right to carry a firearm for self-defense by eliminating the requirement that law-abiding gun owners obtain a permit to carry. The law does not affect previously issued permits and does not eliminate the permitting system.
