South Carolina: Constitutional Carry Vote Likely This Week

Gun Rights

House Bill 3594, the “Constitutional Carry” bill, was debated on the South Carolina Senate floor this week. The floor debate will continue on Tuesday, with a vote expected to take place on or before Thursday, February 1st.

Surprisingly, a few traditional pro-gun allies in the State Senate appear to be on the fence, so it’s important that you contact your Senator today and advocate for your Second Amendment right to keep and bear arms!

This bill has already made it through the South Carolina House of Representatives, so please tell your Senator that you want them to support this bill!

The NRA needs YOU to contact your State Senator and urge them to SUPPORT HB 3594!

Constitutional carry protects Americans’ right to carry a firearm for self-defense by eliminating the requirement that law-abiding gun owners obtain a permit to carry. The law does not affect previously issued permits and does not eliminate the permitting system.
