Gun Rights

Today, Representative Blake Carpenter introduced an amendment to the Kansas State Constitution that would further enshrine your right to keep and bear arms. The amendment would clarify that the existing constitutional right would also include firearm components, accessories, ammunition, and any future restrictions enacted would be subject to strict scrutiny. Contact your state legislators today and ask them to cosponsor this amendment!

Once approved by the State Legislature the proposed amendment will be brought before the voters of Kansas for a popular vote during the general election in November of 2024. Again, please contact your state legislators and urge their support!
