“MAGA Mike Johnson” is the new House speaker. Who is he?
The nickname “MAGA Mike” says all a voter needs to know?
Rep. Johnson, R-La., is a huge supporter of the criminal defendant running for president. Johnson has opposed funding Ukraine’s ability to fight, wants to make virtually all abortions illegal, and supported Donald Trump’s “big lie” about the election being stolen.
Johnson is a do-nothing congressman when it comes to U.S. gun violence. By doing nothing, he is complicit in gun violence and empowering the National Rifle Association.
Before he ran for office, Johnson was senior spokesperson for the Alliance Defending Freedom. This organization is labeled as a hate group by the Southern Poverty Law Center. The current GOP speaker will lead to more chaos and obstruction in Congress.

Do not let book banners, Vladimir Putin lovers, women haters, and other MAGA extremists into any part of our government. Democracy is not a spectator sport.
