Hunter Biden Could ‘Bring Down’ Joe Biden For Good

Gun Rights

Hunter Biden’s Unique Political Liability to His Father: Who would have thought that the son of one of the biggest gun control advocates, President Joe Biden, might become a poster child for the National Rifle Association (NRA) and their ongoing defense of America’s Second Amendment rights?

It just shows you how, frankly, strange, US national politics has become in what I believe historians (if there is anyone left alive a century from now) will come to call the “Age of Trump.”

The Democrats have spent the last three years telling the country that there’s nothing to the Republican Party’s accusations that Hunter Biden served as a front man for Joe Biden, representing his father’s financial interests to various foreign leaders; likely promising those foreigners exclusive access to Hunter’s powerful father in exchange for gobs of cash.

Yet, at every turn during the Republican Party-led investigation into Hunter’s alleged international misdeeds, the federal government has moved to protect the interests of Joe Biden, the forty-sixth president.

The “Deep State” Protects Hunter

Going back to former President Donald Trump’s first impeachment for his “perfect phone call” with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. That impeachment occurred because, at the behest of gonzo attorney, Rudy Giuliani, President Trump wanted to pressure the Ukrainian government to reopen a corruption investigation into Hunter Biden from when he had served as a member of the board of Ukraine’s major natural gas company, Burisma.

Once he made the call demanding Zelenskyy reopen the investigation under the pretense of holding up lethal aid to Ukraine that Congress had approved unless Zelenskyy complied, the impeachment sham began.

From there, 51 supposedly former intelligence officials signed a blatantly partisan letter written by the Biden Campaign in 2020 essentially calling the accusations against Hunter Biden nothing more than “Russian disinformation.”

With that signed letter in hand, the Biden Campaign got most mainstream news organizations and social media platforms to censor any talk about Hunter Biden’s alleged corruption throughout the 2020 Presidential Election.

Had the news about the extent and nature of Hunter Biden’s perfidy been more widely shared among the electorate, most Americans polled said they’d have changed their vote from Biden to Trump in 2020.

Two senior IRS whistleblowers, meanwhile, testified to Congress recently that the Department of Justice (DOJ) stymied their investigation into Hunter Biden’s finances out of fear that any investigation into Hunter Biden’s personal accounts would necessarily mean that the IRS would have to investigate any other account linked to Hunter’s—including those belonging to Joe Biden.

At the outset of the DOJ prosecution into Hunter Biden for charges of federal tax evasion and an illegal possession of a firearm, the DOJ prosecutors offered Hunter Biden what many have rightly referred to as a “sweetheart” plea deal.

It has since been discovered that this plea deal was offered by the Joe Biden-led DOJ only after Hunter Biden’s attorney at the time, Christopher Clark, sent a letter to the Biden Administration threatening to subpoena President Biden as a character witness in defense of Hunter Biden, if the case went to trial.

If not for the presiding judge’s skepticism about the legitimacy of the plea deal in question, Hunter Biden would have gotten away with a proverbial slap on the wrist, and the Republicans’ investigation into the potential misdeeds of the Biden Family would have been dealt a serious blow.

Now that the DOJ case against Hunter on charges of tax evasion and illegal possession of a firearm is going to trial, the wayward and desperate First Son is looking to defend himself at all costs from what would be a very damaging guilty verdict.

Thus, Hunter has moved from being a likely effective representative of his father’s business interests abroad to an extreme liability—so much so that Hunter Biden’s ongoing, very public legal woes could upend President Biden’s already shaky reelection bid.

Hunter Biden Becomes a Legal and Political Liability

It is more than likely that Hunter’s legal team will attempt to involve President Biden in some manner to better defend their client. And now, with the gun charges on hand, Hunter Biden’s legal team is probably looking to craft an innovative defense against the legendary ne’er-do-well’s illegal gun possession charge.

That means, Hunter will allow himself to become an unlikely representative of the Republican Party’s comprehensive, ongoing resistance to Hunter’s father’s gun control policies.

Should that occur, then, Hunter Biden would do more damage to his father’s tough reelection campaign than anything that the Republicans, whether Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis were the GOP nominee in 2024, could ever do to Biden.

And if Hunter is desperate enough—and fearful that his father might try to distance himself politically from the First Son—Hunter would go to any length to save himself from legal jeopardy.

Hunter Biden will likely take up the same talking points of the NRA and find a friendly reception from the Right-wing media ecosystem, he might even find NRA legal assistance in his gun possession charge, that he ordinarily would not enjoy.

If Hunter Biden’s legal team did subpoena his father as a character witness in defense of the First Son, that too would completely damage Joe Biden’s reelection campaign.

Hunter has proven himself to be a supreme liability to Joe Biden. His threat to Joe Biden’s political future will only become more severe as Hunter Biden’s legal woes mount, and the forty-sixth president tries to put distance between himself and his damaged son.
