Michigan: Senate Sends Anti-Gun Bills to Governor

Gun Rights

Today, the Senate voted to concur with the House on Senate Bills 798081, and 82, which the House passed last night, to impose a one-size-fits-all firearm storage requirement to make them unavailable for self-defense. The Senate then voted to pass House Bills 4138, 4142, and 4143, to further criminalize private transfers of firearms by expanding Michigan’s permit-to-purchase and registration system to all firearms. These bill packages now go to Governor Gretchen Whitmer’s desk.
