Washington: 2023 Legislative Session Convenes Today

Gun Rights

Today, January 9th, the Washington State Legislature begins the 2023 legislative session. This year, anti-gun lawmakers will, once again, try to come up with the worst thought out gun laws on the west coast. They already pre-filed bills to ban commonly-owned firearms, require citizens to obtain a permit to purchase firearms, allow anti-gun zealots to bankrupt the firearm industry with junk lawsuits, and create a system for individuals to renounce their Second Amendment rights. Gun owners and sportsmen throughout the state must stay actively involved to defend freedom.

Your NRA will continue to fight to promote and protect your right to keep and bear arms and hunting heritage. Our members remain the most powerful political force in American history, and together, we will secure the Second Amendment for present and future generations.
