New Jersey: Outdoor Shooting Ranges Set to Reopen Friday

Gun Rights

Thanks to a lawsuit brought against Governor Murphy by NRA’s state association, ANJRPC, Governor Phil Murphy announced this week that outdoor shooting and archery ranges will be allowed to reopen this Friday, May 22nd.  Unfortunately, the Governor’s order has not been extended to indoor ranges.  Outdoor ranges that choose to reopen are required to adhere to strict social distancing and sanitation protocols, as well as a capacity limit.  Specified protocols are detailed in Executive Order 147.
