Two Elkhorn residents are in custody after a September incident in which they allegedly brandished a firearm toward a group of teens, which led to the discovery of multiple stolen guns in their homes, Whitewater Police said.

Surveillance cameras in the Whitewater McDonalds captured Kya Hines, 19 yelling at the teens, brandishing a concealed gun before laying it on a table with the barrel pointed at the group, according to a release from Chief Dan Meyer. Hines was accompanied by Trevor Barnes, 21, who police say had a prior felony conviction and couldn’t legally own a gun.
