By the way, hitting the bullseye on the 230-yard gong was pretty much a lucky shot. Not likely I could have repeated that. 🙂 Also, JB was about 20 or 21 when he designed his first rifle, the 1885 single shot; however, I’m not sure of his age when he started designing this rifle. I had that “20 or 21” in my head. He would have been about 31 when this rifle entered production, of course.
