Maryland: Charles County Proposed Gun Ban on Government Buildings

Gun Rights

Last week, the Charles County Commissioners proposed Bill No. 2022-51, a bill that bans the Right-to-Carry in city-owned buildings. Citizens will be given the opportunity to comment on the anti-gun bill at a public hearing on Wednesday, January 11, 2023. The County Commissioners will consider oral comments at the meeting, and written comments must be submitted before the January 11th meeting. More details on the different ways to submit a comment can be found on the county’s website.

Once the meeting is confirmed on the website and written comments may be submitted online, your NRA-ILA will keep you informed of how you can engage to oppose.
