Saturday afternoon the Floyd County Republican Party held their annual Tillman Rally at the Coosa Valley Fairgrounds.
A crowd gathered to listen to various speakers with 14th District Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene serving as the keynote speaker.
During her address, Congresswoman Greene encouraged Republicans in Northwest Georgia to turn out and vote in the 2024 election.
The President of the National Rifle Association, Bob Barr, also addressed the crowd.
Several local officials took the stage, including Senator Chuck Hufstetler and State Representatives Katie Dempsey, Eddie Lumsden, and Matt Barton.
Also in attendance were Floyd County District Attorney Leigh Patterson, Sheriff Dave Roberson, County Commission Chair Allison Watters, Floyd County Commissioner Scotty Hancock, Rome Mayor Craig McDaniel, and Rome City Commissioners Jim Bojo and Wayne Robinson.
