Paul Hiram Greene, age 84, of Georgetown, Ohio died Tuesday, May 23, 2023 at his residence. Mr. Greene was a retired supervisor with the former Cincinnati Gas & Electric Company after almost thirty-seven years of service, a United States Army veteran, a member of the Carey Bavis American Legion Post # 180, the Georgetown Church of Christ, the Republican Party and the National Rifle Association. Paul was born July 31, 1938 in Cincinnati, Ohio the son of the late Paul Clifford and Lillie Mae (Sams) Greene. He was also preceded in death by his wife of twenty-nine years – Shirley Anne (Pollitt) Greene in 2020, whom he married February 15, 1992; one sister – Dee Harris and one brother-in-law – William Harris.

Mr. Greene is survived by three children – Christian M. Greene and wife Cher of Springboro, Ohio, Chad S. Greene of Centerville, Ohio and Bethaney A. Vivian and husband John of Morrisville, North Carolina; five grandchildren – Kyle and Ashley Greene, Drew and Ellyse Naylor and Jay Vivian and one sister – Patricia Lemmen of Jacksonville, Florida.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 P.M. Tuesday, May 30, 2023 at the Georgetown Church of Christ, 149 Hamer Road, Georgetown, Ohio. Kevin Whitsett will officiate. Visitation will be from 10:30 A.M. – 12:00 P.M. Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in the Confidence Cemetery in Georgetown, Ohio with Military Services by the Carey Bavis American Legion Post #180. The Cahall Funeral Home in Georgetown, Ohio is serving the family.
