Maryland: 2023 Legislative Session Convenes Today

Gun Rights

Today, January 11th, the Maryland Legislature begins the 2023 legislative session. As previously reported, Maryland lawmakers declared their 2023 gun control agenda to expand gun-free zones where law-abiding citizens cannot carry for self-defense. Despite continued court rulings against the New York/New Jersey gun control efforts last year, Maryland is likely to follow the same legislative path. Gun owners and sportsmen throughout the state must stay actively involved to defend freedom.
