The Road Ahead: A Statement from FPC Founder and President Brandon Combs

Gun News

After a landmark win at the Supreme Court, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on FPC and our path forward. We are more excited than ever about the future of FPC and how we are working to focus on the most important things in this post-Bruen world. Indeed, FPC is already working with the exceptional litigators at Cooper & Kirk—truly the best in the space—on the largest Second Amendment litigation program in the nation. Even though FPC already has an unmatched legal action program, we are still working to significantly expand our portfolio of strategic litigation and network of outstanding litigators so that we can do more work for the People we serve.

I recently informed FPC staff that we will be nothing short of the very best and most capable liberty-advancing team on the planet, with full and relentless focus on the most important tasks, so that we can serve the People, fulfill our purpose, and achieve the mission. I also informed the team that FPC will move forward through work in three focused programs—and perform them at world-class levels. And further, I underscored that focus enables us to be agile. FPC must always be an agile startup—and never lose the capability to pivot quickly and focus on the most important things. Going forward, FPC will focus on:

  • Liberty culture-promoting activities;
  • Allowable direct and grassroots advocacy activities; and,
  • Litigation and legal activities.

As FPC undertakes the things necessary to focus all of our attention on these three critical program areas, we will work hard to increase value and reduce cost, all while expanding the amount of work we do to restore the natural right to keep and bear arms and other individual liberties.

The bottom line: We are going to focus on the most important things and improve both effectiveness and efficiency, but FPC will never stop running towards the fire, promoting and expanding the liberty culture, being the voice of and for the People and cause FPC serves, or championing the values of individual liberty and property rights.
