RH Line for July 6: Fourth of July, homeless plan, gun violence

Gun Rights

Fireworks

What does it take for the city to start enforcing the above ground exploding fireworks ban? When I called the police dispatcher to report illegal fireworks she told me they had already had hundreds of calls about illegal fireworks and didn’t know when someone would be able to come out and check. Bombs being set on us don’t cut it.

The city of loveland is a joke. Their fireworks was a fiasco and their enforcement of illegal fireworks was a bigger joke.

No respect

So the city of Loveland is going to put the homeless in the sewer plant. That’s just great. They have no respect for humanity. If they’re not breaking an old woman’s arm with Alzheimer’s, they’re putting the homeless in the sewer. Fantastic.

Berthoud event

I was a little disappointed that the Reporter-Herald had no coverage of the wonderful July 3 celebration in Berthoud. It was an incredible family friendly event with lots of games and kids everywhere. Lots of room to spread out at the new park and an incredible fireworks show. Just a wonderful way to celebrate our independence and remember why we have such a great country.

Blood money

At a time that we celebrate independence, we are slaves to the NRA and to the gun lobbyists. The majority of the people are sick and tired of all the killings and mass murders. I say it over and over, where is the people, our representatives, to protect us? We can’t go anyplace, not even on Independence Day, any large crowd, whether its a concert, school, no matter what, we’re at threat of being killed by, usually, a young white male with an AR-15. When are our representative going to become aware and see exactly who they are and represent people, not money, for their next election. It’s blood money, and I hate to say it, what happened down in Texas, the blood all those kids was on Greg Abbott’s hands. What happened in Illinois is just the same. … The Supreme Court says shooters have more rights than the victims. How screwed up is that? …
