Minnesota: Legislature Adjourns Sine Die from its 2022 Regular Session

Gun Rights

Today, the Minnesota Legislature officially adjourned sine die from its 2022 Regular Session.  Unfortunately, important Environment Omnibus legislation, Senate File 4062, was unable to receive a vote and make it out of conference committee.  However, your NRA-ILA has learned that the Legislature might potentially hold a Special Session later this year, and NRA Members and Second Amendment supporters need to remain vigilant and active if that occurs.

Thank you to those who continued contacting their legislators in support of Senate File 4062 and strengthening amendments that sought to remove shotgun-only hunting zones, and include funding for shooting sport facilities and hunter education programs for schools.  Your NRA-ILA will continue to keep you updated with information on a special session or other issues that affect our Second Amendment rights in the North Star State.
