GLR 440 Pistol Stock Review – Glock Accuracy Evolved

Gun News

Glocks are some of the most popular pistols all over the world. They are widely used by Militaries, Law enforcement, and civilians. These simple pistols are the go-to choice for many people when it comes to personal defense and concealed carry. However, no matter how good a pistol is, it will always have some drawbacks when compared to a pistol caliber carbine, or a rifle.

Pistols are compact, but when it comes to home defense, stability and accuracy are more important than compactness. Pistols generally aren’t as accurate as a rifle or PCC with stock. Therefore, are less effective, especially when the target is a little far away. In fact, in a high-stress situation, it can be difficult to get accurate shots even as close as 20 yards.

Glock Pistol Stocks

There are several ways in which you can improve the accuracy of your Glock. However, one of the quickest and easiest ways to get better shots from your Glock at longer ranges is to use a pistol stock. Adding a removable stock to your Glock can make it a lot more stable while shooting, and it gives you a personal defense weapon that is more capable than a simple pistol but still very compact when compared to a pistol caliber carbine or short-barreled rifle.

The Fab Defense GLR 440 has an adjustable length of pull and can be adjusted to different lengths. It has a comfortable backplate and a raised cheek rest as well. This makes the pistol very stable and significantly increases its effectiveness.

However, make sure to check your local laws before using a GLR 440 Glock stock with your pistol, because adding a stock to a firearm turns it into a rifle by definition, and if a rifle has a barrel shorter than 16 inches, it is considered a Short Barreled Rifle. You need to pay a Tax Stamp to legally own an SBR.  Therefore, make sure that you get the process done to legally own an SBR in your state before you assemble and use the GLR 440 Glock stock with your pistol.
