South Dakota: Legislation to Address Anti-Gun Banks Scheduled for Hearing

Gun Rights

This month, the Financial Industry Nondiscrimination Act, Senate Bill 182, was introduced in the South Dakota Senate.  The measure has been scheduled for a hearing on Tuesday, February 15, in the Senate Commerce and Energy Committee.  Please contact committee members and ask them to SUPPORT Senate Bill 182.

Senate Bill 182 will address the actions of anti-gun banks who discriminate against lawful businesses that engage with the firearm industry.  This measure will prevent any bank that does so from being able to contract with the State of South Dakota.

Again, please contact members of the Senate Commerce and Energy Committee and ask them to SUPPORT Senate Bill 182.
