West Virginia: Keep, Bear, and Drive with Arms Act Heads to the Senate Floor

Gun Rights

This week, the Senate Judiciary passed the WV Keep, Bear, and Drive with Arms Act, House Bill 4048.  The measure now heads to the Senate Floor for a final vote.  Please contact your State Senator and ask them to SUPPORT House Bill 4048.

House Bill 4048 affirms that it is lawful to possess loaded and/or uncased rifles and shotguns in vehicles “unless rebutted by the totality of circumstances” that unlawful hunting is occurring. This ensures that law-abiding citizens may carry the firearms of their choice, in the manner of their choice, with them in vehicles.

Again, please contact your State Senator and ask them to SUPPORT House Bill 4048.
