Taylorville, IL — Rodney Davis, a Republican from Taylorville, announced today he is running for re-election to Congress in the newly-drawn 15thCongressional district, which includes his home in Taylorville and much of the district he currently represents. He is the only incumbent member of Congress who resides in this district following the Congressional redistricting process.

About Rodney:
Rodney was first elected to Congress in 2012 in the current 13th Congressional District, which was drawn by disgraced former House Speaker Mike Madigan to favor a Democrat. Rodney beat the odds and was elected in that district five times, even in the face of tough political headwinds and millions of dollars of campaign spending from Nancy Pelosi and her left-wing, progressive allies.
During his time in Congress, Rodney has established himself as a conservative committed to governing. He is proud of the excellent constituent services he and his staff provide, helping residents cut through red tape and navigate the federal bureaucracy.
