Louisiana: Your Action Needed – Urge House Speaker Schexnayder to Schedule Constitutional Carry Tomorrow

Gun Rights

One of the greatest 2A enhancements for self-defense rights in the Sportsman’s Paradise, Senate Bill 118, passed out of committee earlier this week and needs your help to be considered before the Legislative Session ends!  NRA Members and Second Amendment supporters are strongly encouraged to contact House Speaker Clay Schexnayder at (225) 473-6016 and respectfully ask him to schedule the self-defense measure for floor debate TOMORROW!

Senate Bill 118 removes the requirement for law-abiding individuals to obtain a concealed handgun permit before being allowed to carry concealed, a handgun for self-defense.  This important legislation ensures that citizens are able to exercise their right to self-defense without government red tape or delays.  This measure does not affect previously issued carry permits, and allows citizens who still wish to obtain a permit in order to carry in other states recognizing Louisiana permits, to do so.

Again, Constitutional Carry Legislation, Senate Bill 118, needs your help to be considered and subsequently passed before the Legislature adjourns.  Please contact House Speaker Clay Schexnayder at (225) 473-6016 and respectfully ask him to schedule Senate Bill 118 for floor debate TOMORROW!
