Alabama: Texas Also Advancing Permitless Carry

Gun Rights

In the time since we last reported on Alabama’s permitless carry bill passing a House committee, the permitless carry bill in Texas has been making quick progress. On April 30th, the Texas Senate Special Committee on Constitutional Issues advanced House Bill 1927, just days after Governor Greg Abbott publicly threw his support behind it. Last night, the full Senate voted to pass HB 1927. It now goes back to the Texas House for further action.

Please contact your state representative and remind them to SUPPORT Alabama House Bill 405.
