Senator Martha McSally Attacks “Giffords” Gun Ban Group ” And Its Head, Who Is Trying To Unseat McSally

Gun News

Mark Kelly is a former astronaut, the husband of mass shooting victim and Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords, and a Candidate the head of the Giffords gun ban group, and a candidate trying to unseat a friend of ours, Senator Martha McSally.

Newsweek reports Senator McSally “attacked” the Bloomberg funded Giffords group in a n item that essentially supports Kelly and the gun ban legislation that the Democrats promise to deliver as soon as Biden takes office. https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/politics/martha-mcsally-attacks-mark-kelly-s-gun-control-group-started-after-wife-gabby-giffords-was-shot-in-the-head/ar-BB19MGXi

Gabrielle Giffords was shot by a person judged criminally insane, whose insanity had been recognized many times by local law enforcement, including Sherif Clarence Dupnik, but Jared Loughner was never given a sanity test that would have revealed him to be a walking time bomb. Mark Kelly should know that, but chooses to head an organization dedicated to punishing the law abiding for owning guns – and ignoring those like Jared Loughner, and the career criminals who commit the overwhelming of violent crime.

Further, Mark Kelley refuses to recognize the enormous damage gun control has done to Arizona and to the United States. The chart below, presenting FBI Uniform Crime Report data in a compact form, shows the rise in violent crime in two States, Arizona and Maryland, and the decline in homicide when gun control laws were somewhat relaxed. Since 1993, Arizona’s murder rate has fallen from 10.6 murders per 100,000 to 2019’s

5.0 per 100,000, and before Giffords cranked up was as low as 4.6 per 100,000.

Since 1495 more than 58,309 regularly enforced gun laws have been imposed. But not even one of those laws can be shown to have reduced crime, made anyone safer, reduced the incidence of political assassination, or to have done anything else an informed person in possession of their facilities would consider a benefit.

The laws that Mark Kelley wants would certainly send the violent crime rates soraing, with a strong possibility that Arizona’s major cities could have homicide rates in excess of 80 per 100,000 population.

But Senator McSally seems well aware of the bloody history of restrictive gun laws. Since 1900 totalitarian States determined to wipe out any resistance to the all powerful state have used gun control records to round up and exterminate more than 262 million innocent human beings, starting with Armenian Genocide, the Holodomor in the Ukraine, simil programs in the Soviet Union, the Holocaust, Pol Pot’s Cambodia, China, and literally dozens of other places. https://www.hawaii.edu/powerkills/NOTE1.HTM

That last link shows the total killed by the registries the gun ban industry demands as of 1997. Since then, almost 70,000,000 more mass murders by agents of a restrictive government have been found.

Senator McSally will not sell out Arizona and her Country, and is well aware of the problems with poorly considered legislation, and repeating a mistake in hopes that next time a miracle will occur and it will provide some benefit.
