The report makes it clear Smith has given his vote to the Democratic Socialists, despite the fact New Jersey’s experiment with gun control has been an unending series of failures. As you can see, violent crime was in decline in Jew Jersey until the entertainment industry’s “confiscate them all” campaign went into effect in the last weeks of 1963. New Jersey police reported only 7874 violent crimes in 1963, but that was up to 13,204 the last year before New Jersey’s y’s Draconian gun law was put in place.
By 1973 violent crime was up to 28,845 violent crimes, while murders hat frisen from 163 in 1962, the last full year before the #guncontrol campaign, to 207 in 1964, the first full year of Hollywood’s gun ban campaign, to 358 reported murders in 1968, the first year of the Draconian gun law, to 546 in the first year of the Hughes bill
The latest FBI data is from 2018, when New Jersey reported 21,914 violent crimes with 372 murders,, or some 20 percent below media rep;orts of the same crimes.
And this Smith has obviously never taken the fifteen minutes it would take to determine the bloody history of New Jersey’s and every other restrictive gun law.
Regardless of who endorses thes Congress creature, the fact remains that Smith has favored laws that are directly contrary to the interests of law abiding Americans. We need to concentrate on stopping the flood of stolen and trafficked guns that arm the underworld, instead of robbing the law abiding of any effective defense against the criminals who now infest New Jersey.
Regardless of party affiliation, Smith is effectively a Democrat. He should be retired at the very first opportunity.
