No doubt the gun confiscators will be backing gun ban candidates in Sout Texas as well, and just as little doubt that the minions will hotly deny any intent to confiscate guns until they are in office. When the situation will change to full speed ahead on confiscation until the next election.
The history of “gun control” is a shrp rise in violent crime any time the people’s ability to purchase, possess, and carry defensive weapons have been made less. A rise that seldom falls more than a few percent for any reason other than relaxing restrictive gun laws, allowing citizens to defend themselves from criminal violence.

Given the complete 525 year history of restrictive gun laws, there is no doubt that a new round of gun controls, especially the Bloomberg Bundle with its gun confiscation, will push the homicide [murder] and violent crime rates to even higher levels that Texas experienced in the 1980’s.
Obviously, it will take a lot of hard work to keep Texas from turning into a disaster for civil rights, gun rights, and freedom.
